Problem Statement

Our users need a solution to quickly access comprehensive translations for new words, supported by clear visual aids and an incentivizing rewards system that maintains their motivation for studying.

We will know this to be true when our users consistently achieve higher language proficiency levels and exhibit increased engagement in their language studies though our product.

Takeaway

KEY LEARNING POINTS

  • Insights gained through the interview and testing process helped to produce a more user-friendly product by aligning the design goals with the users goals.

  • Initial and ongoing assumptions regarding what users valued most in a product such as Vloks demonstrated the need to continually revisit both user goals as well as pain points.
